How Do They Do That?

The images on their comments!

I have noticed that many have these icons (images) that are posted in the upper right hand title block.

How do they do it?

I would love to plug my little preacherman in my comments but can not figure out how to do it.

drmiller- confederate flag
KingBee- yellow jacket with stinger engaged
ParaTed - has (2) six-strings.

Can any one help?
