And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.
Could Jesus Have Sinned?
Published on November 20, 2004 By preacherman In Religion
In the second letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul states that God made him (Christ Jesus), who knew no sin, to be sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

I believe Christ was without sin, that He might present Himself the spotless lamb of God for the sin of the world; John 1:29, the question is could Jesus have sinned?

In Acts 20:28 the Apostle Paul exhorted the leaders in the church at Ephesus to "take heed unto thereselves, and to all the flock )church) over the which the Holy Ghost hath made them overseerers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His blood." This passage of scriputre would indicate that the Church of God (no reference to the denomination) was purchased with God's on blood, which would indicate that Christ was God reconciling the world to Himself! Was Jesus God?

what lesson is provided by a divine being taking human shape? how is humanity supposed to identify with a non-human jesus? would a non-human, unable to sin jesus feel pain or be tempted to despair? if not, mel gibson dont have a movie and we've all had a lotta useless drama inflicted upon us.

The scriptures teach that God had to become a man in order to redeem fallen humanity- Hebrews 2:14-15 forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself took part of the same; that through deathe he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

It was not just a man that could deliver but one, (the only man) who would be the acceptable propitiation for the sin of humanity. The scriptures teach us that He who knew now sin became sinfor you and I that we might know His righteousness.

All of this is true but the individual must believe that the Bible is the Word of God. Man's faith must have a resting place and it can only be found in the Word of God.

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:10
Or maybe this one?
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
1st Corinthians 15:28

Idiot. Of course not.
God is one. He has no equals. HE HAS NO CHILD OR CAN BE ASSUMED TO HAVE A CHILD!
Your dogma is full of branching, labyrinthine logics that makes a lost lamb lost even more unless he obeys...the preachers!
How many of you read your bible and don't throw it when you read the even when Jacob defeated God? It is the same Jacob who tricked his father! How come a criminal be allowed to defeat GOD?
You are all just lost, illogical, lambs.

This was true until the Great Shepherd of the sheep came. Oh, what a Saviour!
He will save to the uttermost of the world.
